Love these. I bought a size up from other reviewers saying they run small. That was not my experience. I should have bought my size. Otherwise, they're excellent shoes. I bought them to mountain bike in, and haven't been disappointed. There's just enough lace to tie up (I have them loose so they just slip on), which is nice to not have lots of extra flopping around. Definitely will be purchasing these again when I eventually wear them out, or when my dog gets hold of them.Comfortable shoe made from really durable material.I don't know why I hesitated to purchase a pair of 5/10, this makes a whole lot of difference with my riding experience.Make it your first pair.I bought these for a weeklong mtb trip in Moab, and they worked REALLY well. Highly recommend for all things mtb. They fit great and all that sort of thing, and took one hell of a beating on the Whole Enchilada trail, but held up great and have minimal signs of wear. The biggest thing on them is a stain from chain lube, but that's my fault. My only complaint is that in terms of just walking around in, they could use a better soul for the shoe so there's more shock absorbance, other than that, they perform great.For women, consider sizing up half or even one full size, depending on the thickness of your socksGoing to break them in a bit. Not a big deal. They are going to last a long time.This shoe is NOT standard to size. You will have to buy a half size bigger. And if you are flat footed they will hurt your feet. So I bought some insoles with arch support. Other than that they are great. The soles are very sticky and that’s a good thing when mountain biking. The stitches are heavy and over all the entire shoe very well made. Overall I’m happy with my purchase.My 2 star rating was because of the misleading listing. Five Ten makes great shoes!! This is a Women's shoe and it is inaccurately listed as a Men's shoe. Just know if you are going by Men's sizing it will be too small. I wear a Men's 9.5 and that's what I bought because the listing says "Mens". If I had known it was a Women's sized shoe would have bought the Women's size 11. * Side note it is a pretty wide shoe for the given size. The Five Ten gum sole performs well and is great if you are concerned about scuffing floors. These shoes will last a long time!Amazing as alway100% recommendSo comfortable and grippy!
