My son loved this jacket and wished it fit him. He wears a size Medium in mens shirts but this jacket was very large on him. It has a very nice 'lumberjack' style zip-in liner that he also really liked and would work as a stand alone jacket - but again it was too large for him. We wished we could have found it in a mens small - but it was not available...otherwise we would have kept it.This jacket was worth the money since in kept me warm in the Polar Vortex of winter 2012/2013. It is well made with down stuffing. My favorite part is the integrated hood. I have had a columbia jacket with a detachable hood that could be somewhat easy to lose.This jacket is not equipped with alot of zipper compartments like some Columbia jackets. One thing columbia could do, is add two pockets on the inside of the liner to stick your gloves in just like the bugaboo jacket. This jacket is designed to keep you warm and not made with alot of zippered pocket to put things in.Great jacket...ordered it for a upcoming ski trip...first one arrived but was too small so had to return for a refund...I would suggest going up one size from what the size chart says...after all this is a ski jacket and you will be layering underneath if need be and should have the room to do so...once I received the correct size I was extremely happy with the fit and finish of the jacket.shipping was incredible...2 days from Georgia USA to Edmonton, Ab Canada...i was worried that the replacement was not going to make it but was here in plenty of timeAll in all a very good transaction with AmazonMy husband found this great deal while looking for something warmer than the typical Texas coat for our Alaskan cruise in a few months. This is a really nice coat, has a plaid flannel collar attached to a substantial quilted lining which you can zip in and out of the coat. Columbia is and always has been a great brand of clothing. The colors in person are like a like putty and really deep olive. He's happy with it, especially considering what a deal he got!The inner jacket feels warm enough, but there's a reason why the Amazon picture doesn't show the it. The inner liner is a shiny peacock blue. (Seriously, Columbia? Great jacket series RUINED by stupid color choices).And the medium was HUGE.I wore it onto the mountain and i was both dry and warm.the down insulation is light and breathable and i never felt like i was sweating or overheating.The only thing i don't like about the jacket is the inner layer is flashy.It is a blue flannel. personally I would've liked something a little more demure.fits really well!This coat ended up being simpler then I thought it would, which is not a bad thing, but I was expecting a little more. Thats just my high expectations talking, it's a great quality coat, works great for multiple conditions and is quality fabric. I think the in store pricing was outrageous, amazon was very workable for my budget.This is a well made jacket with a nice removable liner. My son got this for his two year mission to Uruguay and he loves it. Most days he doesn't use the liner, but he's grateful he has it when he needs it. It breathes well when just wearing the shell and it keeps him dry when it rains.
